FROM BABYLON TO HERE Chapter 1 CHAOS RULES THE WORLD Questioner: Is there a God? Respondent: Religions are invented out of our longing to find something beyond ourselves. All have failed to deliver and still difference of opinion persists. Nietzsche asserted that God is dead. We cannot deny this is the unspoken reality of the world. Questioner: The God of the Old Testament is certainly dead to most people on this earth. But the God of the New, with its imagery of enchantment and ceremonial pomp, has seemingly enthralled us all. Devoid of capacity to see beyond our condition, we create imaginary Gods. Doing this gives us a mechanized sense of security where beliefs take on an automated mechanical process forming the very fabric of society, right or wrong, to be defended at any cost. Religions reduce us to machines and, to escape the pain of seeing it as it is, the mind leaves reality behind. Respondent: Might our reliance on imagery be our barrier to realizing God? Questioner: From the time of Moses, we see gold-worship from the foothills of Mount Sinai to the current hedge funds and derivatives of Wall Street. This idea of money is the God of the world. We see its subordinate imagery embedding a patriarchal Allah of warring Muslims defying the Prophet's abhorrence of image. We see it in the three-headed Christian cocktail reinventing a new Saviour God from earlier Babylonian cults. Islam and Judaism might not demonstrate material images like that of a crucified Jesus, yet both hold firm to a mental image of an old man God. Gilded words in holy books are also imagery. Respondent: Why are we held captive to such? Why are we unable to grasp the simple fact that it's only when the mind itself becomes sacred, can the door open to the immeasurably sacred? Questioner: We create our Gods and mutilate each other in the process. Why are we unable to transcend this trap? Respondent: The findings from this research show we have no immediate necessity to create another God. The existing pretentious God-figure devised from the previous Babylonian model blocks access to the Higher Intelligence. Already established, it's automatically sustained in a system held together by political and economic structures where we, as its supporters, lie to ourselves while living and dying under its pact. A similar pattern is evident in the control mechanisms of Islam, apparent in the current Mecca digressed into another money spinner of the Saudi elites. Similarly, the findings uncover that money alone is their God. Numerous indicators show how Saudi elites, while claiming allegiance to Islam, openly mock the message of the Prophet. Questioner: The Beast has many heads. Each religious belief serves the transference of wealth from the sweat of the workers where the poor must always be poor and ever obliged to worship the 'Hidden God' of the wealthy. Respondent: It is how it is. The poor must remain in their own entrapment while the masses venerate the Gods of misguided elites. Driven by dreams of riches, humanity cannot escape its next Armageddon. Source: From Babylon to Here Speaking from the middle cosmos: ‘I am the silence, the still presence permeating your mind. Wherever you are, wherever you look, I am you. You are never alone, nor can you be alone, for I am always here. Within and without it is I. Look at the bird, soaring through the air. It is I on the wing being that I am. Touch me, taste me, hear me, see and be me in the fragrance permeating your stillness. It is I, eternal life looking out through your wondrous eyes. You are here in this moment now, so wake from your slumber of time. Come alive. Let go the illusion of your mind-perceived world. Perfection is now; the pulse of existence is now. So why be confused? Why worry? Why surrender your essence to the dream world of time? When I look through the eyes of the skylark I see as the skylark and sing to the heart of creation. I do not think, for I am immediate to life. There are no problems in me; no worries, for problems and worries are thinking. Thoughts have no meaning to me, for I am all that is life. Draw near; allow me to show you the heart of existence, your source from whence you have come. There is only me, there is only I and you know in your heart that I am.’ The book NOW IS LIFE at Amazon The bow cuts into the rising swirl of the Mediterranean. The ferry boat heaves against the pushing might of the open Atlantic. Heading towards Andalucía, this lone voyager looks back at the fading coast of Morocco. He reflects upon his years in this land, how its charm and magic opened to him through the gracious hearts of its people.
Here, he found a place of the ancients, the orchestral harmony of all the prophets. Here, he found a people in tune with life in all its mystery, beauty and tribulation, a people still truly connected. Morocco, I relish the great privilege you bestowed upon me. I thank your ears opened to hear, your eyes opened to see, your hearts opened to give. I thank the teaching you gave me and how you showed me, that despite a world gone mad, humanity can still be natural, pure and good. You travel with me, the lone voyager sailing from your shores. I thank each of you for this added pulse of life in my heart. For now, I bid adieu. The world of warlords is now crumbling, thanks to the open voice of social media. Structures supporting division are becoming more transparent. Real intelligence sees there are no enemies, only wrong thinking and misunderstandings. Human consciousness is edging towards a new world order, no longer driven by the misguided thought patterns of the armaments industry trying to sustain the unsustainable. We must let the old go. If we are to have a new world order, warlords can have no place in it. The old thought patterns have to be abandoned. As the great teacher said, "We cannot put new wine into old wine skins without contaminating the new." In the universality of our true nature, war is never justifiable. In our expanding awareness it is now more apparent than ever that intelligence is the only way. New Release: FROM BABYLON TO HERE August 1, 2016 Following CHAOS THE CHAMELEON GOD [2000], sixteen years on, this updated research shows that nothing has fundamentally changed. One might think technology would serve our awakening, but the findings from this research clearly indicate that humanity is now even more immersed in denial and on the verge of slipping yet again into a deeper Babylonian abyss. The religions of today are similarly entwining political and economic structures as a means for exploiting all that is good. They are of the same fabric which led to the destruction of Babylon and the demise of the Pharaohs' reign. One would expect religions to be sacred, but the findings show how the essence of the message is still being reshaped for governments propagating our disconnect from God. Also available on Kindle |
