We've seen books published turning the NOW into an interpreted object resulting in the vitality of truth lost. There are few living masters and only a living master can tell it as it is. I acknowledge the extraordinary privilege of being with a living master over an eleven-year period of my life. I have found that wide are the roads of interpretation while narrow is the path of the living master. Enlightenment shows not in philosophical discussions nor in television chat shows. We hear about the power of now, now being the present, all plagiarized words, truth unperturbed.

So what is the NOW?

Being in the present means negating the past from where all negativity arises. There cannot be negativity in the present without an infringement from the past. The present is the present, but the present is not the NOW; this is where the intellectuals get it wrong. The present is the existential mirror of now where life is reflectively immediate. But let us not lose our awareness that the reflective consciousness of the brain is always past. Being fully present in the body is immediate past. One cannot say NOW is immediate because immediate denotes time. Coming out of the tomb of the past and being life in the present is the first step to enlightenment and as close as one can get to the possibility of the NOW exploding one's imaginary world. The living master speaks from the timeless. The intellectual mind relays from time. I invite any of these writers proclaiming to know to be with me in the NOW.

Global whining is creating a downward spiral in the psyche of humanity. This is more detrimental than anything external on the face of this planet. We need to wake up! The current world recession is not a real recession. It is not due to a scarcity of resources, the cause is the mania of stock market perception and fund managers having over-invested in their own misperceptions. It is driven by numbers equated by notional values in obsolete paradigms. If human consciousness fails to transcend this blockage, war on a global scale is inevitable.
Humanity is now at a critical mass. We must either evolve or dissolve; we no longer have middle ground. The way out is to accept our situation exactly as it is, draw a line on our yesterdays and start afresh. It can be done and we have the intelligence to do it.
