Love and Relationship

The purpose of our talks is to speed up our awareness. This means letting go of the past. Our issues with relationship show we react from our worlds of impressions rather than being immediate. We need to see this in order to serve love rightly.

Serving love rightly does not mean serving my personal self and personal wants. It takes extraordinary stillness to catch whatever is arising in me. The nature of self tends to pin the cause of any disturbance on someone other than self.

Looking from stillness is a way of seeing where my house is not in order. But whenever I look from my disturbance the cause mostly appears in someone or something other than myself.

Stillness is the ground from where I can look without movement of mind and possibly see whatever is arising in me. In this stillness I might possibly see that the world is as I am. This is the first step in getting my life right. Looking from stillness enables me see the way back in through the projecting pain of myself.

If I want to see my face, I must look in a mirror. But in reality I can never see my face, for the mirror can only provide a reflection. It is important to understand this point. I am looking out through these eyes at life appearing all around me which is only a reflection of the life within. The reality is within. This surely means that I am responsible for my life. But somehow my immediacy crashes upon the reflected image in the worldly mirror as my personal self.

In our worlds, relationship is built upon image. Distortion is inevitable whenever I fail to see the other is the mirror mirroring myself. Seeking love in the mirror seems to be the eternal pursuit of the self.

Firstly, I can only know love in my being. I cannot know love outside of me, but I can see its reflection externally through the ones I love. When I enter relationship rightly, I enter in service to love, the one love emanating from every life form on this earth. Here, love alone is being served.

But self is compromise, unloving complacency leading to inevitable pain, reflecting on repetitive past its only domain. Thank you for sharing this message.
